We don't fear losing space, in the first incarnation of Tri we gave away alot of space that we conquered, and in the end we gave Dek away...doubt anyone would be heartbroken if we ended up losing space that we conquer. I know it won't effect my corps approach to the game, and I doubt my brother corps in Tri would spill many tears either.

No, we park our char's at a gate, login other chars in other alliances and do stuff...my BOB capital pilot was killing a mom while Wes was keeping Hydra stuck inside a station...its pure win...
